Style is everything. In more ways than one. Every photographer has his or her own style and that style should mesh well with what you, the client, are looking for. If traditional is what you're after we'll gladly assist you with a referral as PETRINA's style is anything but traditional.

Storytelling images filled with personality, a touch of irony and a hint of eccentricity is more likely what you'll find when looking at her work.Relying solely on natural light and shooting exclusively on location helps keep PETRINA's work fresh. Her clients have come to expect the unexpected, allowing PETRINA creative freedom which ensures that each session is unique and personal. Her ability to think outside the box often results in some of her client's favorite images.

Your Shoot

Say good-bye to sitting still, studio settings, and a certain number of poses. Say hello to natural smiles, a world full of background options, and as many poses as you want!

What's next?

Once you arrive at your designated meeting place, PETRINA will walk you through the different stages of your shoot to help you get comfortable and remove any kinks or pre-picture jitters. A few practice shots will be taken to test the lighting, then the fun will begin.

From high-profile model shoots to toddlers running wild, PETRINA is experienced in the art of taking brilliant photographs. If you want a few pose suggestions, don't be afraid to ask. But, it's been proven time and time again that the best session will always come from you being...well, YOU. You're the professional...let's make some magic. Anywhere from 100-300 images will be taken during your personalized session.

Also, if you feel the need to change outfits....go for it!

After Your Shoot

Once the session is complete the creative process continues as PETRINA searches through every single photo looking for your best shots. In about a week, those shots will be uploaded to a private page on our website, ready for you to view. Once you have selected your preferred photographs, PETRINA retouches and edits each image individually turning them into works of art. The editing process takes approximately two to three weeks. Prints are ready approximately one to two weeks after an ordering. Products such as fine art canvas and storybooks may take longer.

Q:Does PETRINA shoot weddings?
A: No, but we can provide you with a list of referrals. Engagement sessions are available.
Q: Are digital files available for purchase?
A: Digital files are available for purchase with orders of $500 or more.
Q: What if it rains the day of my session?
A: Light is a key element in a successful photo shoot. If it rains or the sky is too gray, we will simply reschedule to ensure we get the best results possible.
Q: I would love to work with PETRINA, but her prices seem a bit high, can I get a discount or something?
A: Actually, PETRINA's prices are extremely low when you look at the amount of time spent on each image and the overall quality of your final product. However, we love a bargin too. PETRINA does over various discounts and specials throughout the year. Take advantage of the winter season - prices are always very competitive.
